先日葛西臨海公園のカヌースラロームセンターで行われたNHK杯の優勝者にコメントをいただきました。

中にはカヤックとカナディアンの2種目とも出場している選手もいました！

◆K1　Smolen Michal（USA）
It was good for me. I started not so well, then I get better with every run.
And the final was I think my best run, so I’m happy with the result.
I really liked the course. It’s quite nice and new. It’s not like anything else.
It was also exciting because it was Japanese Olympic selection race. So the atmosphere was really nice.
It was nice for us other athletes to watch the Japanese races as well.

オリンピックの日本代表選考会という雰囲気も含めて、今回の大会を楽しんでくれていたそうです！

◆C1 Savsek Benjamin (SLO)

It’s the first time for me to be here in Tokyo.I like it a lot.
It was nice, and it’s really nice course. The race was quite good, you need to be clean without the touches, and I did quite good, I’m happy to be on the first place.

スロベニアではこれから選考会が始まるそうですが、冬に向けて良いステップになったと語ってくれました。

◆WK1　Franklin Mallory (GBR)

The course was good, and I really enjoyed racing here.
My run was good, I had a few mistakes, but it was nice.
The course is similar to London. I really like it.
It’s been a long day with C1 and kayak, so I try sleeping and train again for the test event next weekend.

◆WC1　Vilarrubla Nuria (ESP)

I was learning run by run,finding points to improve. So I’m happy now and keep training for the next week race.
It’s a nice venue.I think the atmosphere here and the organizers and the people have been great and I’m happy with that.

初めての公式戦が行われるという雰囲気や大会全体を楽しんでくれていました！
